Four drivers for Haas RT in Abu Dhabi

Updated: Oct 31

Haas RT will return to Yas Marina Circuit with a four-driver line-up which blends youth and experience to take on the challenge of the 2024 Gulf 12 Hours on 15 December.

Seven of the world’s leading sportscar manufacturers are represented in the region’s premier GT endurance race, and Haas RT will compete with an Audi, racing against competitors with Aston Martin, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Mercedes-AMG and Porsche machinery.

The Belgium-based, Antiguan-licenced team made its Gulf 12 Hours debut last year and returns with its Audi R8 LMS GT3 in a striking livery which dynamically blends shades of blue.

The multi-national Haas RT driver line-up is made up of two Belgians, an Australian and a Briton.

Australian John Corbett has GT3 Pro-Am podiums to his name and is also experienced in LMP2 prototype racing, while young Briton Casper Stevenson finished third in his Am class in the 2022 Gulf Hours, adding to a growing list of GT honours.

Belgian pair Xavier Knauf and Grégory Servais return to Abu Dhabi with Haas RT having participated together in last year’s Gulf 12 Hours. They have already enjoyed an overall podium finish this season with the team at Spa-Francorchamps.

The team and drivers will face an exciting new challenge in this year’s Gulf 12 Hours when the prestigious event adopts a unique split format, consisting of an opening eight-hour endurance contest followed, after a two-hour break, by a four-hour sprint to the chequered flag.
