AF Corse reveals first Gulf 12 Hours driver line-up

Multiple Gulf 12 Hours winners AF Corse has confirmed the first of its driver crews who will take on the iconic end-of-season endurance race on 15 December in Abu Dhabi.

AF Corse is one of the most successful teams in the race’s history with two overall victories. The Italian team is a regular competitor in the Gulf 12 Hours, showing exceptional commitment to the race as it has grown into the region’s premier GT endurance event.

Lining up this year at Formula 1’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix venue, Yas Marina Circuit, in AF Corse colours will be a quartet of Italian drivers: Alessandro Cozzi, Eliseo Donno, Marco Pulcini and Giorgio Sernagiotto.

Further driver crews for AF Corse and the other teams already committed to the 2024 Gulf 12 Hours will be announced in the coming weeks as excitement builds for a unique event in the motorsport calendar.

The 2024 Gulf 12 Hours will break new ground with a new two-part race format, starting with an eight-hour endurance race and finishing – after a two-hour break – with a four-hour sprint to the chequered flag.

In keeping with the event’s focus on gentleman drivers, new driver line-up rules ensure at least one Bronze or Silver driver will be part of every participating crew, bringing another unique element to an international race of the Gulf 12 Hours calibre.
